Sun will battle with clouds through the weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Wednesday’s weather will be a sign of things to come this week – sun battling the clouds.

Thursday will start with clouds but should break nicely into sun in the afternoon. That could help temperatures rise to nearly 70.

Clouds will come back in for Friday as an onshore flow redevelops. Highs will be back down in the low 60s, with perhaps some afternoon breaks of sun.

More of the same is expected for the weekend, but Sunday looks to be more overcast with showers moving in later in the day.
