Flora Curtis Elementary School to celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation week

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Flora Curtis Elementary School in Pawtucket will celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation week.

From Sunday May 5 to Friday May 10, the school will celebrate their staff with daily themes.

Students are invited to participate every day, or choose which day they want to participate in:

Sunday, May 5: 

Bring chalk to school and decorate the walkway. The school will provide chalk until 4 p.m.

Monday, May 6: 

Bring your teacher a flower! The Parent Teacher’s Organization will provide vases. Principals will provide breakfast for teachers!

Tuesday, May 7:

Wear your teacher’s favorite color to school! It will be Taco Tuesday for the teachers!

Wednesday, May 8:

Bring in supplies that teachers need for the classroom! PTO will provide a snack cart for teachers.

Thursday, May 9: 

Grow the classroom’s knowledge, and contribute a book to the library! PTO will provide cupcakes and fruit salad.

Friday, May 10: 

Draw your teacher a picture or write them a note! PTO will provide ice-cream from Palagi’s ice-cream truck.
