UPDATE: Dog seized from Pawtucket hoarding situation dies
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — According to the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, one of the dogs recovered from a Pawtucket home in an apparent hoarding situation has died.
The dog passed away overnight following a routine spay/neuter procedure.
The RISPCA went on to say that all of the dogs recovered from the house are in fragile condition and “are not yet fully out of the woods.”
Several other dogs were spayed/neutered and are being closely monitored as they are still in recovery mode.
These dogs will not be available for adoption until they are fully recovered.
