Johnston Police locate missing teen

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Police found a runaway teen reported missing out of Johnston.

The Johnston Police Department reported Monday afternoon that officials located 15-year-old Taya Scott.

Scott was reported missing on Wednesday, May 1, after she did not get off the bus from Johnston High School.

Police called for the public’s help finding Scott over the weekend.

No further details were released.
