Alleged New Bedford shooting suspect charged with murder after victim dies
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — A 60-year-old man who was shot on Austin Street in New Bedford has died from his injuries, and the alleged shooter is now charged with murder, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office.
Christopher Smith, 38, of New Bedford, allegedly shot Ronald Sinclair at approximately 2:30 p.m. on April 29.
Sinclair had been rushed to a local hospital and died from his injuries on May 3.
Smith will be arraigned Tuesday morning in New Bedford District Court on a murder charge.
