Woman arrested after Richmond stabbing

RICHMOND, R.I. (WLNE) — A woman was arrested after a stabbing in Richmond on Friday.

The Richmond Police Department said 58-year-old Beth Kores was taken into custody and charged following the incident.

Officers responded to Riverview Drive around 10:52 p.m. after a call from an individual who reported he was stabbed in the shoulder with a knife.

Police said they learned there was a disturbance at the home and found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound.

Kores was arrested and held at the Adult Correctional Institute pending arraignment in district court on Monday.

She faces a felony charge of domestic assault with a dangerous weapon, as well as misdemeanor charges of domestic disorderly conduct and violation of a no-contact order.
