Weather 180: Cloudy and cool with thunderstorms Wednesday

After the nicest day of the year, Wednesday will be cloudy and cool with showers and even a thunderstorm. Highs will struggle to get out of the 50s.

The isolated threat for a stronger thunderstorm (containing wind gusts and small hail) has been pushed eastward into Southern New England for tomorrow.

Thursday will start out dry but showers will return during the afternoon, with yet another gloomy day on tap for Friday.

Mother’s Day weekend will see some minor improvements. Right now Saturday looks to be a little brighter with a mix of sun and clouds.

Sunday will be partly to mostly cloudy with a shower chance. Weekend temperatures will sit in the low 60s.
