One hospitalized after Lakeville crash

LAKEVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — A crash Wednesday in Lakeville sent one person to the hospital.

The Lakeville Fire Department said the incident occurred on Bedford Street near the former Orchid of Hawaii restaurant.

A van and a pickup truck collided, severely damaging both vehicles.

Officials said two victims were evaluated and treated at the scene, with one adult taken to Saint Luke’s Hospital.

The victim’s injuries were not believed to be serious, per authorities.

Crews closed the road until they could stabilize the scene and recover the vehicles.
