New England Aquarium welcomes four African penguin chicks

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Four African penguin chicks hatched at the New England Aquarium in March and April from two sets of parent penguins.
The first and second chicks from parents Malgas II and Demersus III hatched on March 21 and 27, respectively.
They were a male and a female.
On April 8 and 18, one male and one female hatched from parents Namibia IV and Jahleel III.
Malgas has raised six chicks in recent years, while Namibia is a first-time mother.
