Detours scheduled on I-195 in Fall River
FALL RIVER. Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it will be performing structure inspections along Interstate 195 eastbound and westbound which will require detours.
The work will take place 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. from May 14 to May 16 and road closures along I-195 in the areas of exit 12 and 13 will be in place.
The detour on the eastbound side on May 14 will be as follows:
- Take exit 11 towards Anawan Street
- Turn right onto Western Fall Expressway
- Turn right onto Anawan Street and continue onto Pocasset Street
- Continue straight onto Jeremiah V Sullivan Drive
- Turn right onto 4th Street
- Turn left onto Borden Street
- Turn right towards Hartwell Street
- Turn left onto Rodman Street towards Plymouth Avenue
The detour on the westbound side on May 15 will be as follows:
- Take combined exit 13-12 combined merger
- Take exit 12 towards Pleasant Street
- Turn right onto Pleasant Street
- Turn right onto 12th Street to merge with Plymouth Avenue
Drivers travelling through the area should use caution and expect delays.
