FedEx driver robbed in Attleboro

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Attleboro Police Department said that a FedEx driver was robbed of a package while making a delivery on Franklin Street Friday afternoon.

Around 3:30 p.m. the driver was making a delivery when two masked men exited a nearby car and approached him.

Police said that the men never showed a weapon but one of their mannerisms “suggested to the delivery driver that they may be armed.”

The two men took the package from the delivery driver, got in their vehicle, and drove towards Mechanic Street. The driver was not injured.

Police said the residents of the involved residence reported they were not expecting a package delivery.

Anyone with information relative to this incident is asked to contact the Attleboro Police Department Detective Division at 508-222-1212.
