East Providence police arrest armed robbery suspect
EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Police in East Providence have arrested a Pawtucket man involved in an armed robbery that took place on December 11.
East Providence police announced on Wednesday the arrest of 18-year-old Caesar Mixon.
Mixon, of Pawtucket, has been charged with the following:
- 1st degree robbery
- Conspiracy
- Using a firearm when committing a crime of violence
In a Facebook post, the department said the second suspect, a juvenile, has been identified but not arrested yet.
Police said the robbery happened on Central Avenue, when a woman was lured into the area, expecting to sell an item that was advertised online.
The two suspects allegedly brandished a gun at the time of the robbery.
