Summer preview leading into Memorial Day Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The trend lately has been cloudy weekends and lovely Mondays and Tuesdays, and that didn’t change this week.

Tomorrow will be another gorgeous day. There will still be clouds and fog around in the morning, especially down in South County.

High temperatures will range from 80 in northern areas, to 60 at the shore. Now THAT is a stiff sea breeze!

Wednesday and Thursday will be warmer, but also a bit more humid. Morning fog will also be an issue.

Thursday evening we turn our attention to an incoming cold front that will bring showers and thunderstorms with it.

The passage will kill off the humidity for Friday and Saturday, which both look very nice and still on the warm side with highs in the upper 70s.

This summer-like pattern breaks down a bit for the second half of Memorial Day Weekend, with more clouds and the onshore flow returning to cool things back into the 60s.
