Coventry Town Council to further discuss take back of Johnson’s Pond

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Coventry Town Council will continue discussions today on taking back Johnson’s Pond.

The vote, which will include discussions on potential ways to take back the pond, will take place at 6 p.m., following a public meeting.

The town has already made it clear that they are interested in acquiring the pond.

The council will also vote on litigation matters against the current owner of the pond, Soscia Holdings.
