Tiverton town council to discuss allegations of misconduct from fire department

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE) – – The Tiverton Town Council will meet tonight to discuss allegations of misconduct involving their fire department.

No details regarding the misconduct have been released at this time.

The council will also meet today to discuss their budget, and vote on a bill that would require Tiverton’s School Committee to provide monthly financial reports.

The council is also voting on a bill that would transfer funds from the 2025 Rhode Island state budget to Tiverton, Burrillville, and Middletown.
