Westport Fire battle shed fire after lightning strike

WESTPORT, Mass. (WLNE) — The Westport Fire Department was called to a shed fire yesterday.

In a social media post, the department shared that a fire broke out yesterday around 1 p.m. in a small shed in family’s backyard.

The fire has believed to been caused by a lightning strike after severe weather hit the state.

There were no reported injuries.
