Massachusetts State Police officers visit Dighton Middle School

DIGHTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police stopped by Dighton Middle School today.

Officials gave students a look into different state police divisions.

Police showcased a range of interactive stations including a marine rescue, drones, and their Airwing Department which provides air support across the state.

Dighton Superintendent Bill Runey commented that it’s never too late early to talk about careers as a first responder.

He also said it’s never too late to foster a relationship with kids and law enforcement.

The middle school was also visited by the State Police last year.
