Showers pass overnight, sunny and warmer weather returns Tuesday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Showers and a few rumbles of thunder will move through between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. tonight, paving the way for a nice day on Tuesday.

Clouds and fog will hang around during the morning, but the sun will break out by midday.

Highs will be in the low 80s inland and 70s by the shore.

Wednesday will also be a nice day, but there will be a few isolated thundershowers popping up in the afternoon.

Thursday will feature cloudy skies with morning rain (and cooler temperatures) but beyond that, we expect a great stretch of weather for Friday and through the weekend!
