Attleboro man accused of killing brother over late father’s truck to be arraigned

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — An Attleboro man will be arraigned in District Court today after police said he killed his brother over their late father’s truck.

51-year-old James McCormick was arrested yesterday with charges of assault with intent to murder, as well as assault and battery.

Officers responded to an Attleboro home on Melissa Drive around 3:25 a.m. for a domestic disturbance to find McCormick’s brother, Richard, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

McCormick was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
