Massachusetts stabbing spree suspect to be arraigned today

QUINCY, Mass. (WLNE) — A man accused of going on a stabbing spree over the weekend is set to appear in court today.

26-year-old Jared Ravizza was arrested on multiple charges including intent to murder on Saturday, May 25 after he allegedly stabbed six people in two separate incidents.

According to WCVB Boston, families of the victims said the first happened in Braintree around 6 p.m. when Ravissa walked into the theater and stabbed 4 young girls between the ages of 9 to 17.

The families have said that Ravizza laughed while he was stabbing the young girls.

Using security cameras, police were able to grab a license plate, which led let them to the second incident around 7 p.m. in Plymouth.

Ravizza allegedly reached through the McDonalds drive-thru and stabbed another employee, before heading in to the restaurant to stab another.

Ravizza would later lead police on a chase, before crashing in Sandwich, Mass.

Ravizza, who is a resident of Chilmark, will appear in Quincy District Court for the AMC stabbings and Plymouth District Court for the McDonald’s stabbings.

He was also arrested in April for allegedly assaulting his father.

WCVB has reported that he is the suspect in a Connecticut death investigation.
