WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Bishop Hendricken High School will retire the jersey of Indianapolis Colts defensive end Kwity Paye in a special ceremony at the Pepin Gymnasium.

The ceremony will take place at 1:45 p.m. on June 3 with Paye, a 2017 Hendricken graduate, set to deliver remarks to the student body.

Remarks will also be made by Varsity Football Head Coach Keith Croft and Earl “Buddy” Croft.

Athletic Director Jamal Gomes will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

“We are blessed to count Kwity as one of Bishop Hendricken’s alumni not because he is a standout football player, but because he is a stellar young man whose character and compassion for others is unmatched,” said President Fr. Robert L. Marciano, KHS.

Paye has just finished his third year in the NFL with the Colts, who just exercised his fifth-year option.

Paye was drafted 21st overall in the 2021 NFL Draft after a standout career with the University of Michigan.
