Person dies after crash in Somerset

SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said they responded to a crash near the Braga Bridge where a person died due to “serious” injuries.

Police said the crash occurred around 7 p.m. on Route 195 West.

They discovered the vehicle off the roadway to the right in the tree line.

The only occupant was the driver of the car, a 26-year-old Fall River man.

ABC 6 News crews on scene saw first responders covering the victim’s car with a tarp.
