Mansfield emergency responders called to stolen vehicle crash

MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Mansfield Fire Department were called to the scene of a wrong-way driver on Mansfield Avenue and North Main Street yesterday.

According to a Facebook post from the Mansfield Fire Department, the the vehicle exited the roadway and went through the chain-link fence that separates Mansfield Ave. from the Amtrak/MBTA train tracks, coming to rest alongside the northbound track.

According to police, the car that the individual was driving was stolen.

The driver, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital.
