Connecticut State Police highlight fundraiser for fallen officer

EAST SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WLNE) — Connecticut State Police highlighted the fundraiser for the family of a state trooper who was killed during a hit-and-run.

Police said there is only one fundraiser appraised by the family of Aaron Pelletier.

Pelletier was killed by a passing vehicle while making a traffic stop on Interstate 84 in Southington.

A suspect 44-year-old Alex Oyola-Sanchez, was arrested and charged with multiple violations including manslaughter in the second degree in connection with the death of Pelletier.
