Runners race in 11th BankNewport 10 Miler

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The 11th annual BankNewport 10 Miler race was held on Sunday.

Over 1,000 runners set off from Fort Adams at 7:30 a.m.

The top three runners were Joshua Coakley in first place, Sean Grey in second, and Sarah Schmitt in third.

The race supports the Fort Adams Trust and the Boys and Girls Club of Newport County.
