Fairhaven boat fire sends one to the hospital
FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (WLNE) — A boat fire sent a man to the hospital last night with severe burns to his arms.
In a Facebook post, Fairhaven Harbormaster Tim Cox reported that two men were working on a boat when they were hooking up a battery, and a spark may have been the cause to ignite the fumes on the boat.
A male in his thirties was taken to the hospital with severe burns.
The boat was out of the water when the fire started.
