Fire on Pine Street in Providence displaces one resident
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — An overnight fire has displaced one resident in Providence on Pine Street.
According to Chief Derek Silva, Providence Firefighters were called to the scene of large fire before 11 p.m. that had engulfed two houses.
According to Silva, it took 65 firefighters to extinguish the fire over several hours.
No one was injured, and the resident displaced is being assisted by the Red Cross.
The fire is still under investigation.
