Taunton crossing guard arrested twice in one day, following assault of news photographer

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Taunton Police said former crossing guard, Louis Chavez, was arrested twice in one day after allegedly hitting a woman and her child, and then assaulting a camera man outside Taunton District court.

68-year-old Chavez was arrested after allegedly hitting a mother and her child with the stick of his stop sign.
