PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence Police have released the names of the individuals arrested after a car was stolen and crashed on Broad Street yesterday.

Jesse Pernack and Ramaar Fisher were taken into custody after allegedly stealing a vehicle from Dedham.

Massachusetts State Police had notified Providence earlier that day that they were tracking it.

Around 10:30 p.m., officials saw the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed before it crashed into a parked car.

The two suspects ran from the car and were eventually taken into custody after a foot pursuit.
