CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Hotel for Homeless Dogs has reached several milestones in May, including placing 100 dogs in new homes and reaching a volunteer roster of 500 people.

The adoption figures are a new record for a single month, according to the organization.

“We are thrilled to see so many dogs find their forever families and to welcome so many new volunteers,” said Susan Joseph, Director of The Hotel for Homeless Dogs.

“These milestones reflect our community’s incredible compassion and dedication to animal welfare. We look forward to continuing our mission and making a positive impact in the lives of homeless dogs.”
