Car ends up under semi-truck after crash in Johnston

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Johnston Police Department said that a car ended up under a semi-trailer after a crash on Wednesday.

The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Greenville Avenue at Sanderson Road.

The driver of the car, an 85-year-old-woman, was traveling eastbound when she struck the trailer and became stuck under it.

Police said the woman made “minor complaints of pain” and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for evaluation.
