Suspects in Providence stolen car crash given bail
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The two men arrested after a stolen car crashed in Providence Tuesday night were both given bail.
20-year-old Jesse Pernack was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding law enforcement with a vehicle in a high-speed pursuit, and obstructing an officer.
He was granted $10,000 bail.
18-year-old Ramaar Fisher was charged with obstructing an officer.
He was given $2,000 bail.
Both men were taken into custody after allegedly evading police in a stolen vehicle.
Police said both men ran from the scene of the crash on Broad Street before officers caught them.
Fisher is back in court later this month while Pernack’s next court date is in September.
