Warwick kicks-off Gaspee Days celebration

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick’s annual Gaspee Days festivities kicked-off Saturday with a 5K foot race down Narragansett Parkway followed by the annual parade.

The weekend’s events also include a colonial encampment, a blessing of the fleet, and the ceremonial burning of the Gaspee.

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse attended the parade.
