WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health is recommending reopening Conimicut Point Beach in Warwick.

Last week, RIDOH recommended closing the beach due to high bacteria levels.

According to officials, bacteria counts have returned to safe levels.

RIDOH will continue to monitor and review the beach water quality through Labor Day.
