Pickup truck flips in Plainville collision

PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — First responders tended to an unsightly collision that injured a driver in Plainville on Tuesday evening.
The Plainville Police Department said an officer heard a crash while out on patrol around 5:40 p.m. in the area of East Bacon Street and George Street.
The officer arrived to find a pickup truck that had rolled over onto its roof and a car with front-end damage.
Police said the driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities said an initial investigation showed the pickup truck was traveling north across George Street, crossing into the intersection after being waved on by another driver.
The truck was then hit by a small sedan traveling west on East Bacon Street, causing it to flip.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
