Warm and humid next two days, a few strong storms possible late Friday
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The first day of summer may not be for another week, but it will be feeling like it soon!
Thursday and Friday will be warm and on the humid side. Mostly sunny skies tomorrow with highs in the low 80s inland.
Friday will be dry through about 4 p.m. before showers and thunderstorms arrive. Some of those could be on the stronger side.
The cold front carrying them will move through by Saturday morning, leaving us with sunny and much less humid air. Father’s Day weekend looks like perfection.
Things don’t stay comfy for too long – a building heat wave is on the way for the middle of next week, with widespread 90s and higher humidity likely.
