Boston Celtics NBA championship victory parade set for Friday

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Boston Celtics will officially celebrate their 18th championship with a celebration parade on Friday.
According to WCVB Boston, Mayor Michelle Wu announced the parade Tuesday, as the city’s iconic Duck Boats will carry the players around Boston.
The Celtics beat out the Dallas Mavericks 106-88 in Game of the NBA Finals on Monday night to win the series.
The parade will start at TD Garden at 11 a.m. on Causeway Street, pass by City Hall Plaza and the Boston Common on Tremont Street and end on Boylston Street by the Hynes Convention Center.
The last championship parade was back in 2008 when the Celtics beat out the Los Angeles Lakers.
