MBTA outlines service plans for Celtics parade on Friday

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Boston Celtics will be celebrating their record breaking 18th championship with a parade on Friday, and the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority is making it easier for you to join them.
Subway service will be increase in Boston with trains running between six to eight minutes for the Green Line.
Orange Line trains will operate every seven to eight minutes, Red Line trains will operate every six to seven minutes between Alewife and JFK/UMass, and every 13 to 14 minutes on the Ashmont and Braintree Branches.
Blue Line trains will operate every five to six minutes.
Commuter rail schedules will also be modified with added train times for before and after the parade.
However, bicycles will not be allowed on board Friday.
The MBTA is “strongly encourage” fans to purchase roundtrip fares ahead of time.
