Sen. Ruggerio announces re-election run

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Senator Dominick J. Ruggerio announced his run for re-election Thursday for District 4, serving North Providence and Providence.

Ruggerio has worked on issues such as eliminating the car tax, eliminating income taxes on veterans pensions, and expanding property tax relief programs for seniors.

“I am always talking with constituents, of course, but I am very excited to formally launch our re-election campaign,” said Senator Ruggerio.

“I look forward to continuing to talk with voters over the course of the summer and fall about the ways in which we are working to make North Providence and Providence a better place to raise a family and run a business.”
