Motorcycle crash leaves Providence man in critical condition

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) A Providence man is in critical condition, Police said, following a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning.
The crash occurred around 1:00 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Potters and Elmwood Avenues.
According to Police the victim, a 24 year old male, was speeding when he traveled into the opposite lane, colliding head on with an oncoming vehicle.
Police said the victim was thrown around 75 feet from his motorcycle as a result of the crash, suffering significant injuries to his head and legs and is being treated at Rhode Island Hospital, where Police say he is in critical but stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
