Summer arts program coming to Providence parks

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Mayor Brett Smiley said that the 2024 Ely Fund Neighborhood Performing Arts Series of 41 free public events in Providence Parks that will be held throughout the city all summer.

The series is being organized by the Fund as well as the Providence Department of Art, Culture and Tourism and the Parks Department and will run from July 4 through Sept. 30.

“The Ely Fund supports local arts organizations and brings people together to enjoy our beautiful Providence parks,” Smiley said. “I hope you will join us this summer to enjoy a show with your neighbors.”
