Pawtucket man sentenced to state prison for child molestation

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Pawtucket man was sentenced to serve 25 years at the ACI after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting three female victims under the age of 14 between 2018 and 2021.

Christopher Suarez, 38, pleaded nolo contendere to three counts of child molestation on June 18 at Providence County Superior Court.

Suarez was sentenced to 50 years at the ACI with 25 years to serve and a 25-year suspended sentence and 50 years probation.

Suarez will also register as a sex offender, complete sex offender counseling and will be subject to lifetime GPS monitoring upon release.
