Lincoln to open Planet Fitness location

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — Lincoln’s Planet Fitness will host a grand opening for their new location today.

The location is at 662 Washington Highway, and is over 15,000 square feet.

According to a release, the opening aligns with the kickoff of the high school Summer Pass Program, which allows kids from 14 to 19 to workout for free all summer long.

The club will also donate $1,000 to representatives, as well as kids and teens to the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Rhode Island.

Planet Fitness is also scheduled to open a new location in Warren.
