Middletown Hampton Inn celebrates renovations with ribbon-cutting

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Hampton Inn & Suites Newport-Middletown cut the ribbon on a multi-million dollar renovation project Tuesday.

The $7.5 million renovation of the 317 West Main Road hotel include a new lobby, new furniture and new flooring.

Every guest room and suite has been renovated, including new bathrooms, fixtures, carpeting, furniture, bedding and artwork.

The fitness center will also feature new equipment and flooring.

The Hampton’s sister hotel, Homewood Suites by Hilton were also renovated as part of the investment.
