Tornado reported in Rhode Island, Massachusetts
LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — The National Weather Service said a tornado was confirmed to have appeared in parts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts on June 26.
The tornado occurred “late in the evening” starting in Lincoln, traveled through Cumberland, and ended in North Attleboro.
The NWS added that the winds from the tornado reached speeds of nearly 100 miles-per-hour and traveled over four miles.
