FEMA closing Attleboro Disaster Recovery Center on July 3

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency said that the Disaster Recovery Center in Attleboro is scheduled to close on July 3.

The center at Bristol Community College was set-up to assist those affected by severe storms in September 2023.

FEMA said it can help providing financial help for those who suffered losses from flooding, whether it’s for a home, personal property, or a car.

Affected residents can visit the center until it is closed, or can apply for assistance online or over the phone at 800-621-3362.

The center’s hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and the application deadline in July 15.
