Cranston Police investigate bank robbery

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE)- Cranston Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened on Thursday afternoon.

Police say that at around 1:50 p.m. a man entered the Santander Bank on Reservoir Avenue and handed a note to the teller.

He was able to leave the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was a White male, and was wearing black glasses according to police.

Police say that the investigation is ongoing and they have no more information at this time.
