Three injured, suspect arrested in Taunton stabbing

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Three people were injured in a stabbing in Taunton on Tuesday.

The Taunton Police Department said a 24-year-old man was arrested following the altercation at Paul Bunker Drive.

Police said officers responded to reports of a stabbing around 1:20 p.m. and found a 19-year-old man and two 21-year-old men suffering from stab and slash wounds.

All three were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

The suspect was also treated at an area hospital for minor injuries, according to authorities.

Police said they believed the men all knew each other and the incident was not random.

Officials said the investigation is currently active and ongoing, adding further information will be provided as it becomes available.
