Onset Bay Blessing of the Fleet cancelled due to weather

WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Wareham Department of Natural Resources said that the Onset Bay Blessing of the Fleet scheduled for July 6 has been cancelled.

The department said that expected severe weather and fog are the causes of the cancellation.

It added that it will attempt to bring back the event next year.
