21 cats rescued from Tiverton home

TIVERTON, R.I. (WLNE) — 21 cats were rescued from a hoarding situation in Tiverton on Tuesday.
RISPCA officials said five cats and 16 kittens were safely moved from a home on Adams Street to a Warwick shelter.
A spokesperson added that RISPCA is seeking foster homes for the cats, but said they will need six weeks of treatment for ringworm before they can be adopted.
RISPCA said donations are welcome, adding that more information will be released on Wednesday.
